Independent Pipe Makers united in one archive

THE CARVER'S COLLECTIVE ARCHIVE
We are a community-powered digital archive for independent pipe carvers worldwide. Our mission is to build a permanent, unbiased record that celebrates the artistry and legacy of every active maker. This platform is non-commercial, non-curated, and created by the community—by everyone who cherishes the craft of tobacco pipes.
VISION & GROWTH
We begin with a simple directory, but our vision is to rapidly evolve into the definitive, global archive for pipe making.
This platform is purpose-,built for a singular focus: Archiving the Maker's Legacy.
Definitive Maker Profiles: Permanent, in-depth pages showcasing the carver's styles, artistic thoughts, and complete history.
Archiving the Craft: Documenting the essential details of their work. pipe presentation, techniques, and preferred materials, to establish a global reference standard.
The Maker's Voice (The "60 Minutes" Focus style): A curated digital library of professional video interviews (vlogs) and content dedicated to documenting how makers live, work, and approach their art. This content is observational, non-interactive, and focused purely on professional insight.
The Carver's Collective Archive will become the undisputed, worldwide resource for researching, finding, and celebrating the unique artistry and personal story of amazing pipe makers
CALL TO ACTION
The Carver’s Collective Archive is a community project, and its growth depends entirely on us. We are looking for enthusiasts who can contribute at every level, from a simple passion for the craft to specific technical skills.
1. CONTRIBUTE TIME & SKILL
We need volunteers to help us scale the platform beyond its simple directory.
Content Curators: Help us gather data, images, and links for the initial Carver Directory. (Perfect for enthusiasts with strong attention to detail.)
Web Builders: Work with us to evolve the platform—from creating simple anchor links on our Carrd site to developing the first complex WordPress profiles.
